not very comfortable November 26, 2007 L. Crew (uk) 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
my 7 year old wanted this for his bday,he's not a doctor who fan so if your child is you may think different,my boy complained of it hurting him as its very heavy, played with it on his birthday now its thrown in his toy box, he'll get it out the odd time to scare his baby sister apart from that he's not bothered at all
Frighteningly Realistic November 24, 2007 J. Chippindale (England) 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
My wife and I bought this for our young grandson for his birthday. It is certainly scary, which is what he wanted, don't ask me why. Monsters over good guys any day for our grandson. The voice change mechanism works quite well and for a young child the change in the tone of his voice must be magical. I thought that my grandson's idea of having the mask would change once he had put it on. I felt, myself that it would feel quite claustrophobic, but it didn't seem to phase him at all and he has played with it a great deal. As with all these things eventually the novelty will wear off and it will find a place towards the back of his toy cupboard. Until then we only see a one-eyed monster with facial tentacles, who is about to destroy the world. An expensive item for what it is, but what toy isn't these days.
