We decided to buy our ten year old this sewing machine as a starter point to her fascination with clothes. Extremely dissapointed in the design as it simply does not work properly. Have now bought her a small adults machine and would advise others to do the same.

This sewing machine is incredibly disappointing. It doesn't work properly- a small tug on the line of stitches makes the whole row come undone. Our machine also skips stitches. As an experienced sewer and crafter I would recommend buying a child a small, basic electric sewing machine to use under supervision rather than this frustrating, malfunctioning piece of rubbish.

I was just about to order this sewing machine for my 10 year old daughter.. I am so glad that I read all the reviews beforehand. She will ge getting vouchers now instead!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 10 yr old daughter. I have taken this product back three times, because the foot pedal does not work and when stitching, if you move the material away the stitches come out too. Was this produced to make girls cry or happy.If I am missing something I am more than happy to be pointed in the right direction. Otherwise this has been a highly disappointing present for my daughter. On Christmas day we had tears, how would anyone feel about that on the big day. I have given this one star only because there was no other lower option. A complete waste of money GR8 designs - not..........

This toy has been a GR8 success just like the name suggests. This really is a complete kit to design, make and finally to wear your creations. Includes plenty of beads, shapes etc. I highly recommend this toy.
