DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO TURN BLUE!! March 12, 2008 S. James (Hampshire, UK) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
AWFUL STUFF!!! My little boy turned blue he looked like a smurf!! It was all over his hands and up his arms and bless him all over his mouth! You know what kids are like when they get painting, well off we trotted to the bathroom and would it come out....NO!! So he spent the next two days with blue hands and arms, luckily it's winter and the paint did come off his mouth. I complained to Crayola and this was the answer: In some cases it may take SEVERAL WASHES before the staining is removed. The removal may be aided by the use of an oily substance such as Baby Oil..... Where on the packaging does it say you should buy Baby oil?? Imagine if this got on your carpet or furniture...........Mines in the bin so I suggest you save your money and STEAR CLEAR!!
Buyer beware! The paint is NOT washable as stated November 25, 2007 S. Kaye (London, UK) 26 out of 26 found this review helpful
We just purchased this for our daughter - who is as present sat across from me looking like a combination of Kermit the Frog and the Cookie Monster. Following an intense scrub down at the kitchen sink, her hands remain stained with the blue and green paint(the red paint seems to have been the only colour to have washed off successfully - we haven't yet tried the yellow) Furthermore, the blue paint has left permanent marks on her chair and needless to say, I don't imagine the splatters on her trousers will be coming out in the wash! I expected a much better product from Crayola and am truly disappointed.
