| Customer Reviews:
Very fiddly, better for older children. December 29, 2008 Sophie Bevan (Italy) I got this as a Xmas present for my 7 and a half year old daughter - we're quite into arts & crafts, so she couldn't wait to do this. I opened it up, got out the bits and my daughter disappeared - leaving me to do the doll myself. It took me a good hour to complete; much swearing and washing off of sticky glue. I'm sure that if your child is 5 (it is apparently for ages 5 and up!) and has made other stuff like this then it'll be great - but even the first step of measuring out different pieces of the wool hair was too much like hard work for my daughter - all she wanted to do was draw the face whe I had finished the rest of it! The finished piece is quite sweet, and my daughter enjoyed the filling in of the birth certificate, but I think the child would need to be at least 10 to do this on her own. I have warned my daughter that if she touches the ribbons and bows that I tied on and they fall off they will not be put back on again! I will stick to jewellery and painting kits from now on!
