Product Description The Wave in-line action board from Street Surfer is the board everyone's talking about! An awesome fusion of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding; there's no better way to travel! The Wave gives you the ability to do precision 360's, carve downhill like a snowboarder, and even ride uphill! Featuring a two-wheel, 360 degree rotating design, the rider can propel the board forward without touching the ground! There is even an instructional DVD to get you going! The Wave is deservedly a milestone in skateboard design, and is the ultimate accessory for any fans of surfing, skateboarding or snowboarding!

The Wave November 12, 2007 J. KING (Dorset, United Kingdom) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have two boys, 11 & 9 and a girl aged 7 - all find this fantastic and are still playing with this 6 months on. As it has a single wheel front and back, some help in starting off is necessary to get your balance. Once you get the hang of surfing (rather than skating) - i.e. pushing the back foot back and forth and leaning into corners, it becomes easier, and you can propell yourself forward without having to take a foot off to push yourself along. By moving the feet the opposite way allows you turn in a very short space (although a little unnerving for the people standing close by!) I paid 90 each (not via Amazon) but the quality is very good - they are all scratched and well used but still work as well as when they were new. I can highly recommend this - although a word of warning for the 40 year olds out there ... it's hard work trying to beat your kids around the park, and demoralizing when you keep losing!
Fantastic and innovative product October 4, 2007 Speedy Gonzales (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I own a board very similar to this one, which is called an Exboard, but it uses exactly the same technique to make it move. It's great fun once you get the hang of it- it really works the legs and improves your balance, and on top of that, it's also enjoyable. It's good to use the board somewhere with a large, flat area which is also fairly smooth (like a sports hall) so that you can get the technique right, and get going quicker. The only drawbacks of the product are that it's quite pricey (but worth it!) and also...you can't brake, which is a bit of a problem if you're going downhill. Otherwise, brilliant product, and well worth having a go :D
