As mentioned before this is a good basic entry level tent for weekend fair weather camping. I agree, the zips not too good but this is a good sized tent for the price - what do you expect!. Great for children camping in the garden or the occasional weekend away. Simple to erect if you've had a dome before.

I have just been on a camping trip and the weather took a turn for the worse, It rained solidly for 3 days, and there were gusts of up to about 35 miles an hour. The tent survived this( wouldn't want to subject it for much more than this), albeit noisily, with not as much as a single drop of rain making it through the outer skin. It has plenty ventilation on the inner which does a reasonable job of keeping it cool.
I agree with some of the other comments about it ,the zips could definitly be of a better quality, There could be more guy rope attachment points which would help a lot in bad weather.
But all in all I would say this is a good value large tent, very easy to put up and take down, goes back into the bag easily unlike my expensive vango's, I know there are shortcomings with the tent but for the money that you are paying for it, you can't really expect much more in the line of quality, which is the reason it's cheap. So I would give it a big thumbs up for fair/summer weather camping.

this tent arrived within 3 days,it came without insructions but i put it up by myself in under an hour(not bad for a woman), next time it should only take about 20 mins. we tried it out in the garden in a thunder storm and it was very warm and dry.it took only 20mins to take down by myself and it all fitted back into the bag.this tent is excellant value and has plenty of space.

If what you want is a large entry level tent, then this is a good tent. I agree it is not robust, but with care it will last a good few outings in fair to middling weather. The interior size is a definite plus and the ability to stand up inside the tent is not to be dismissed. It is the case that the build quality could be better, but then too, the price could be higher.
At the price you get a tent that will form the basis of easy camping, but it is the case the zips are not good and it can have issues with the limited pegs. I would advise buying a few more pegs, take care putting up and give an additional waterproofing. That said, still cheaper that any other 8 man tents of similar quality.

this tent is the worse thing i think ive ever got off of amazon, to set it up it dont take long but its crap. all the zips broke off and if it is windy your have to go out and buy more pegs for extra support otherwise it will actually pull the pegs you have out the ground + three of the holes you have to peg down broke off and the fabric down the side of the tent slighty riped.
also the zips would not catch the teeth of the zip and not close and i needed help to close it.
this tent is only for the summer.
