Not too bad March 23, 2004 Sood (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The case isnt too bad - however I don't like the fact you cant hot sync it while in the case, and the sim cards holder leaves the contact side exposed. However for me the breaking point is that my palm T3 sticks out ever so slightly at the top - I don't know if this is normal for the T3 so I bought another T3 specific case, I'll keep this one as a spare or give it away to my mates.

I have had this case now for almost 10 months, and apart from some scuffs and minor dents it still holds up well. I have carried my Palm most of the time and it has been safely protected and usable. As one reviewed stated, the only thing you cannot do with the Palm in the case, and that is hotsync. The only downside I have is that sometimes it comes unhooked on the back when sliding the Tungsten closed, causing the case not to close properly, but otherwise it is an great add on to my palmtop, and the first accessory I purchased.
Protects your palm and looks nice :-) April 19, 2003 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought this case cos it protects my palm better than any of the other cases around, and its easy to use. According to bnolan23's review u cant fully access the palm whilst its in the case...BUT YOU CAN, simply slide it upwards, it also allows access to the head phone jack at all times. The case is only slightly larger than the tungsten, cos its a hard case there is no chance of accidentally turning the palm whilst its in your pocket...unfortunately my case already has a couple of dents in it, but at least my tungsten still looks new :-)
OK March 12, 2003 D. M. Ankers (Netherlands) 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
Until now I have used a Palm Vx in a soft leather case but I thought a hard case would be a better choice for my my new Tungsten T.The case has a more flimsy feel than I expected. It should be enough to protect from everyday collisions but there is no padding so don't drop it. Matching the colour of the Tungsten would have been a nice touch. On the back of the Tungsten are two small square openings which engage with two lugs on the case whilst a pair of (plastic) springs at bottom of case holding things together. I find it quite easy to remove/replace the cover but wonder how long the springs will last. With the case closed there is access to the power button, SD slot and the stylus. The front hinges to the left only with "click stops" at 135 & 180 degrees. The 135 stop is good when holding the Palm in your left hand, with access to the "record" button using my left thumb. Contrary to another reviewer I find it quite possible to use the Palm with the grafitti area open whilst still in the case - I pull the screen up rather than the bottom down - doing so without removing the case at the same time took a day or two to master. It is possible to close the case with the screen extended: useful whilst I get on/off the train but no good for longer periods. The universal connector is not accessible open or closed; which I find very annoying personally. There are two SD slots on the inside of the case front. I dislike the fact that cards can only be inserted with their contacts exposed (more likely to be touched accidentally when removing) and the label hidden (guess which card you are removing). The case does not add much weight or bulk overall so if you have pockets that will accommodate the Tungsten then you can probably still do so. After a week I find myself hankering for my old leather case and have begun researching options. There's at least one that retains access to the UC which is probably what I will end up with.
Sturdy, well built and good protection for you pecious TT February 19, 2003 Matt (UK) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
Don't be put off by the negativity of other reviews, this is actually a fairly good case.Admittedly, if you are left-handed, it may not be ideal, and yes, it's a lighter colour than the Tungsten itself, but it is well constructed, and far better quality than the plastic cover supplied with the unit. Another critisism - that you cannot use the Tungsten without removing it is nonsense! Sure, the bottom of the case no longer slides down, BUT there is a recess in the top of the case allowing you to slide the top up whilst the bottom half of the unit is held in place. The headphone socket, voice recorder, power switch and stylus are all easily accessible too - the only thing you can't do with the case on is HotSync. Not perfect, but a good buy nevertheless.
