Case doesn't shut with the Tungsten T3 in it January 15, 2005 Timothy Hayes (Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The case looks beautiful and appears sturdy but has a fatal flaw. Although it shuts fine whilst empty when I put my T3 in it it would no longer shut. The individual case that I received does not appear to be faulty. It seems as if the manufacturer forgot to take into account the fact that the buttons on the T3 are slightly raised, so it just doesn't shut.
Proporta Aluminium T3 Case January 8, 2005 W. Perrett 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My immediate reaction on receiving my case was that it was just what I needed. I was disappointed to find that I had to remove the T3 from the case to put it into the cradle and that removing it is fiddly since the T3 is held so tightly in place. The case does protect the T3 as I found when I dropped it but just a week after receiving the case the rod fell out of the hinge and the front cover fell off.
Great protection December 29, 2004 Mr. T. Russell (Edinburgh, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used this case for about a year. It has been dropped (not by me) several times without any damage to the T3 (or to the case). Much better than the one sold by Palm which is plastic and has no locking catch to keep it closed. Excellent protection for an excellent PDA!!
Limitations of the case December 3, 2004 John S. (UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This case feels ok to hold and certainly does the job of making your T3 feel snug and safe. As advertised, the various sockets etc. are accessible whilst in the case.BUT (and this is a big "but" to me) in my view the case has a major problem - whilst in the case, you can't slide down the lower section of the T3 to expose the whole of the expanded screen! You have to take the T3 out of the case to do this. So what's the point of the case? It doesn't even keep your T3 protected from the slightest of the elements. Not the best designed case in the world - smacks of a case designed for something else which has just had a few notches cut into it so you can get at the sockets.
