Great quality case but flip-type would be better for lifedrive. November 7, 2006 C. Sheppard (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to help protect my lifedrive. The case is very good quality and well made with useful slots to put spare SD cards and business cards, however I find that my lifedrive slides out of the bottom or top of this case, therefore limiting it's protective ability. The two bars that hook the lifedrive in do not hold it securely enough to stop it sliding up or down in the case. I have dropped the lifedrive a couple of times and the case did not protect it very well because of this, thankfully no damage was caused and the case did protect from scratches on the front and back of the lifedrive, if not the ends and corners. The book type case may be ok for other PDA's but due to the thickness and weight of the lifedrive it just doesn't work that well. I do recommend the proporta cases as if the lifedrive didn't slip I'm sure it'd protect it well, however don't go for the book type as I think that the flip type case would be better as the lifedrive could not slide out of the case.
A worthy buy January 13, 2006 Dr. A. Ryan (Torquay, Devon) 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
I was a little aprehensive with spending so much on a PDA, but my old palm just wasn't up to the job. I'd looked at other windows based PDA's, but they still couldn't match Palm's efforts in my opinion The mp3 facility is great - although sound without headphones a little poor at times. Applications included with softwear allow transfer of pics and video from digital camera with good clarity. Transfer of documents from PC in an instant with Lifedrive manager. Can be slow at imes and has crashed once, but otherwise provides all the necessary capabilities a busy professional requires, including blue-tooth and WiFi (which I haven't had chance to use yet) etc. Can also load up short videos/DVD's to entertain the kids on long car journey's also which will prove invaluable, as well as downloading games as before All-in-all I'm 100% satisfied with my selection, to date !!
