5 Star item. April 28, 2008 H. Skidmore (Cyprus) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have two of these on my home network. They are easy to install and the software was quite intuitive to use. Nice kit. Does exactly what it says on the box!
No Drivers Available. March 29, 2008 xeis (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have one of these card in a windows XP machine which has never caused me any problems. My entire network is built on Linksys (CISCO) technology, so this was my natural choice when building a 64bit vista ultimate machine. Imagine my surprise that when the box says "upgradeable to vista" it actually means upgradeable to Vista 32 bit O/S's because cisco do not write ANY 64 bit drivers for any of their products. Put simply by the Linksys support engineer, "That device is not supported on 64 bit Vista".
USB is cheaper, better, faster January 30, 2008 Thomas Hay (London, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First I bought a PCI card because I thought it would be really fast - straight onto the PC bus. Nice theory, but the Linksys card only ever reached 18Mbs maximum, usually down around 11Mbs, and lots of dropped connections. So I bought a Sweex USB adapter and a USB 2.0 extension cable. The cable let me position the adapter for maximum signal strength and voila - 54Mbs, rock solid, no dropped connections. Cheaper, better, faster!

I am not very good with the technical side of computers but this was really easy to set up. If you are just looking for something that will make your PC wireless, then i would recommend this product.
