Great for the home. September 19, 2008 R. Sheppard (Manchester, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Does everything well. Had same low capacity issues with supplied cartridges but once changed got a large increase in amount of printed pages. Setup instructions are clear and very easy to follow. Overall very pleased.

Wireless setup was very easy, can now print from any room in the house. It is a little slow, but the print quality is very good. I havnt really had any problems at all with this Printer, it does what it says very well. Photo's are very good, but take a few seconds to dry. Copy and Fax work well. Overall very pleased.
The worst HP printer I've ever bought April 25, 2008 TheHistoryBoy (London, UK) 18 out of 21 found this review helpful
I tend to stick to HP because of their usually solid Mac support. This time it's a bit wonky, some of the features don't work. (Duplex for instance, you need to use a dodgy hack to get that working). The worst thing is the ink, I have never come across such an expensive printer to refill. And the security chips built into the cartridges make things worse. The printer has told me now that 2 brand new cartridges have been empty when I've only just bought them from Staples! I've had it for one month and have had to put in 7 cartridges! I'm cutting my losses on this one and giving it to a charity shop...
good but should be better March 14, 2008 Kevin O'connor (uk) 20 out of 23 found this review helpful
Picked this printer after doing the research Having used it myself I have found The amount of ink in the black cartridge is not enough and it uses loads, much more than the Epsom it replaced. The cartridges are expensive [cheapest Amazon] The ink also smudges if you touch it It is very noisy in use, clunks and whirs all the time when in use The print quality and speed is very good hence the 3 stars
