Everything's coming up roses in our Italian Sunken Garden here at gadgetshop HQ. We've put our colleague Simon to work in his lunch hour while we all slope off for an Appletiser or two. And the results, with the help of this ultra-helpful gardening set, are a profusion of pinkness. You see, this is a cleverly-compiled gardening set in a fetching shade of girly pink. Carefully thought-out and lovingly put together, it has everything a budding green-fingered goddess might need around the garden. Now, we'll grant you, this doesn't have the wherewithal for serious ground maintenance and earth moving. For that you'll need a man. Or preferably, a JCB. But it will get you into the advanced class when it comes to a delicate bit of lady gardening. The kit is a proverbial box of delights featuring no less than a trowel, a fork, a pair of secateurs, a dibber, a ball of string, some heavy-duty gardening gauntlets and some lighter-duty girly gloves, the whole assembly is topped-off with the thoughtful addition of some apr?s-gardening moisturiser. Even the carrying case can be put to good use as a trug and kneeling pad. Percy Thrower wouldn't have it, of course. He kneeled on the hard ground. With his knees. But, then again, he's not your girlfriend. So that's alright then.

I must admit I am a bit of a princess when it comes to mud & stuff, but this kit has forced me to brave it and sort out my garden. The range of tools is good and they are fairly hardwearing. If you are doing any serious hard work you will need something a bit more specific than this, but this is a great all-rounder and a really useful gift.
The kit comprises of: pink basket with removable handle to keep everything organised, heavy-weight gloves for dealing with thorny hedges & plants, light-weight gloves which are great for keeping you clean and splinter-free, ball of string for training plants, handheld size fork, handheld size trowel, kneeling mat perfect for resting your knees and keeping your clothes clean, pruning shears for cutting back small branches and stems, pink daisy seeds, plant labels, seed planter for easy & accurate planting, and hand cream for a well-deserved treat after all your hard work.

Well, THIS IS THE KIT for gardeners, because its pink. Also as it has stainless steel pink handle it is easy to clean! I also enjoyed how light each object is to man handle because of the nylon bound covers.
