I bought this about a year ago. The comments before mine are valid, but it's all about what you need it for.
1) It does get crumpled up/out of shape - In my opinion, it is easily rectified, just follow the instructions... The instructions state that you should essentially blow it up like a balloon when it is completely out of shape, and shake it about. I've had to do this a few times, and it has easily remedied the problem
2) It doesn't stay cool all night long. I'm not sure how long it stays cool/cold for, maybe 2-3 hours...It retains some of its coolness in the patches your head hasn't been resting on, so I tend to shift it about at night to find the final few cool spots. For me this was the most disappointing part of this product - if it stayed cool all the time, then I'd've awarded it 5 stars.
For me, this product is well worth paying out for. I have a scalp condition which is greatly irritated by heat, which is generated at night when your head is against the pillow. Chillow helps to minimise this discomfort.
I think those that suffer from headaches and migraines would also feel the benefits, as stated by previous reviewers. Good product overall.

I've had this product for ages and have never had a problem with it. If you don't overfill it with water then the vacuum type effect inside stops the foam from moving. Or at least that's what i've found. I'm really happy with it. It's helped my hot flushes no end.

I read all the reviews below on this product and simply had to write in and put my view in the pot! I've had my Chillow Pillow for months and have used it every night through the summer. I can't fault it. As long as you're careful with it, it stays in perfect condition. If you tend to toss and turn a lot in your sleep or hug your pillows then this possibly isn't for you.
Having said that I used to toss and turn due to being hot, until I got the Chillow Pillow and now I sleep soundly through the night. I usually use it on top of my proper pillow as I do like the really cool sensation against my skin. The velvety backing it has also stops it from slipping around on the pillow so it stays pretty well put. I find it really comfortable to use and always sleep soundly on it. Only on the hottest night of the year did I find that it wasn't cool enough for me - so I've now bought a second one which is activated and at the ready should I need it halfway through the night!
I am such a convert that when I went on holiday this year I bought a double pack and activated them when I got there as the nights were extremely sticky. Before they were activated they were very light to carry (being just foam) and took up next to no room in my case - so were the perfect travelling companion!
So all in all I love my Chillows and wouldn't be without them. It's amazing what a good nights sleep does for you mood!

Pillow stayed cool for about 1 hour. Really didn't work through the night, and was actually quite uncomfortable when overlaid on the pillow.
Excellent....until it stops being usable September 3, 2007

This is a great product, until 1 week after you start using it ut becomes all tangled up inside rendering it useless.
