Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Dreadful software   August 2, 2007

Apart from the fiendishly complicated interface (simple trims and fades in and out are made overly-difficult) the biggest problem with this software is its inability to import DVD and MPEG files properly. Audio problems abound with symptoms such as no sound and lack of sync with picture. Support service doggedly refuse to accept these are problems with the software and always blame the material, despite the fact that other programs such as Nero Vision and Cyberlink PowerDirector cope flawlessly. Other examples of sloppy programming include some menus all in German even in the English version. Not recommended.

3 out of 5 stars Slow Rendering   March 31, 2007

This software has loads going for it. It has loads of effects and is pretty straightforward to use. However, I compiled a 45min movie with only cross fades (nearly every clip) and it took 42 hours to render... yes, I said 42 hours. My pc was unusable from friday afternoon to sunday evening while it did it's maths. I should say at this stage that I have a Packard Bell i-extreme 2.4 processer with 1 gig memory. Go figure!!!!!

Fantastic software. In less than 2 days I can do a lot more than expected.
I was afraid it could be a too big of a step from Movie Maker, but intuitive and powerfull, Magix Pro 11 is my best buy this year.
This product is realy easy to use. No fear.
